The TAMA HP30 is a whole lotta pedal for not a lotta dough. You may recognize its offset Power Glide cam from TAMA's high-end Iron Cobra series. Drummers here at Sweetwater love this mechanism because it gives the beater extra power and speed toward the end of each stroke for a satisfying, modern playing experience. Also unique for a pedal of this price is the TAMA HP30's adjustable beater angle, which allows players to customized their beater excursion and pedal travel. Other features borrowed from TAMA's top-of-the-line pedals include a Spring Tight-inspired, non-slipping tension nut for rock-solid action, and a two-way soft felt/hard plastic beater to suit most styles of music.
